At the end of the world lies the Baguales region of Chilean Patagonia. Uniquely beautiful yet vast and unforgiving. Civilization seems to dwindle, roads disappear, and signs of the modern world become scarce. Any further south and you’ll find yourself in Antarctica.

In places this remote it’s often the landscapes that draw you in, but the people who call it home that leave the strongest impression.

Victor and Ricardo are two gauchos who have roamed this land for all their lives. While the world spins madly on to their north, their way of life has changed remarkably little for generations. Horses remain the fastest and most efficient mode of travel, dogs aren’t pets but rather indispensable partners, heat comes from wood fires, and each day is shaped by the weather and seasons.
